Goldrich (large, bright orange, oval fruit with deep orange,
firm and fine-textured flesh) and Harcott, (an attractive, early
variety, medium size, oblong, orange with a slight blush) are our
two principal varieties.  Some other varieties we grow are,
Goldcot, Harglow, Sungem, Curtis, Hargrand, Veecot, Harogem and
Harlayne. The harvesting season usually starts the first week of
July through the end of July.  If you want
apricots shipped or ready for u-picking, be sure to call for an
update closer to the predicted harvest time.  We also have frozen
apricots available mostly year round, call for information.

Please keep in mind that mother nature has a way of speeding up or slowing down the ripening process so if you want a more detailed date on u-picking, or fresh picked shipping please contact us closer to the date of harvest.

We find here at Tree-Mendus that most people have either never had an apricot or only experienced them from a can off of the shelf at the grocery store.

Apricots, like any other fruit fresh off of the tree, are one of the most delectable taste sensations you will enjoy not to mention that they have a wonderful aroma and that they are good for you too!

Fresh eating is the best, but when you look at the possibilities in cooking or baking, the list is endless! Who can resist fresh apricot jam on a slice of homemade wheat toast or a slice of apricot pie with a scoop of ice cream?

Apricots are easily put up in jars and they keep their beautiful color and shape until you are ready to make your favorite dessert. Freezing apricots is easy too so you can use them later to make jam or into a recipe for a tasty bakery treat.

We have several varieties of apricots that allow a longer picking season. They are available in our country store where you will find the freshest apricots picked at the proper time just waiting to be enjoyed fresh or in your favorite recipes.
